PURPOSE:                        (1)     To elect any open board member positions, to each serve on the Board of Directors beginning Tuesday, May 5,  2026. The following individuals have been nominated by the Board Nominating Committee:

• Dick Bixler  renewing to serve a three-year term

• Don Buhler  renewing to serve a three-year term

• Kim Fritzemeier renewing to serve a three-year term

• Rick Gerber  renewing to serve a three-year term

• Sue Givens   renewing to serve a three-year term

• Kim Krehbiel  renewing to serve a three-year term

• ___________  to serve a three-year term

• ___________  to serve a three-year term

• Additional board member nominations will be announced and presented on the ballot at the annual meeting to each serve a three-year term

Immediately following the Annual Meeting of Members, the Board of Directors shall hold a regular meeting for the purpose of organization and election of Officers.

2. To review accomplishments of the Filley Art Museum during the prior year and transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

RECORD DATE: All Regular Members at the meeting on May 5th, will be entitled to vote during the meeting and any adjournment thereof.

MEMBER VOTING       Members will be asked to cast a vote by written or electronic ballot during the meeting for each individual nominated for a board position. Every Member of the Vernon Filley Art Museum Foundation is entitled to one vote in any election, referendum, membership meeting, and for the election of each Director.  In the case of a Family Membership, each family shall have one vote, except where the family has paid for additional Individual Memberships.  No email, mail, or voting by proxy shall be permitted.

Thank you for your membership and your support this year! 

We look forward to this opportunity for you to vote, and for us to report the progress made this year. 

75% of our funding comes from our members. Vernon Filley Art Museum is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Under Internal Revenue Service guidelines, you may be entitled to deduct all or part of your gift(s).

We depend on your annual gift, as membership comprises 75% of our income budget. We are independently funded and don’t receive any regular government or State subsidies. The remaining 25% of our income is from admissions, art classes, grants, gift shop sales, art sales, and facility rental.

 We thank you for supporting the museum. Your funds support programs like our art classes, community group tours, guest art exhibits, kids tours, lunch and learn demonstrations, and more!

Your funds also go to support our operating costs such as maintaining our building and humidity-controlled environment, which protects the Filley permanent art collection and sustains rotating guest exhibits.
